Tip n°38 : The kindness


Following up on this week's 💫💭🪄 magical thinking 🪄 💭💫, we're going to elaborate more on the noble quality of kindness 🤗. Do you know that the word “kindness” etymologically refers to the notion of an elevated soul or nobility of the soul… I say: it starts very well ❗️ Being kind is not only an act that increases our level of well-being ☺️ and makes us feel happier 😄, it is a gesture that has many benefits for our physical health ✌️. Yes, our acts of kindness stimulate the little chemist 👩‍🔬 👨‍🔬 who is in us 👉 he immediately gets to work in this wonderful laboratory 🔬 that is the human body and prepares us, with great professionalism 🥼 and passion ❤️‍🔥, a succulent blend of substances 🧪 which are excellent for our body and for our brain 👍. These molecules are true elixirs that bring us more life and more health.



The ingredients of this prodigious cocktail 😃 ‘feel good’ 😃 are numerous: ❇️ Serotonin: we call it the happiness hormone 😃😃😃 No need to say more, right ❓ It soothes, regulates our emotions and brings us a lot of well-being. ❇️ Oxytocin: after the happiness hormone here is the love hormone 💞💞💞. Terrific ❗️ It’s what we secrete when we fall in love 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 or when we cuddle our pet 🐶. It protects our heart 🫀 and dilates our vessels (even they relax 😎❗️) which reduces blood pressure.


❇️ Endorphins: these famous molecules which act as powerful painkillers, among other things. ❇️ Dopamine: it is the pleasure molecule 😌, it boosts us 🙌, motivates us and gives us a feeling of euphoria 😜. ❇️ And know that every time you are kind, cortisol, the stress hormone, decreases... no need to describe all the benefits of this effect for our health! It also seems that the 'nice guys' secrete 23% less cortisol compared to the rest of the population 👍. Just that ❗️


These effects are powerful, kindness seems to increase life expectancy more than regular exercise 😲❗️ Be careful, I didn't say that we had to be sedentary 😜 but the 'simple' act of being kind allows us to be in much better physical and mental health 💪. So here is an immediate, free tool at your fingertips that can be used unlimitedly when things are not going well 👌. You are anxious 😨, depressed 😢, stressed 😣, you ruminate 🤯, have negative thoughts 😞, dark thoughts ☹️… or simply you are not in the mood 🤷‍♀️… try kindness ❗️


Smile 🙂 at a stranger on the street, help an elderly person 👵👴 to cross the road, give flowers 💐 for no reason, say thank you 🙏 from the bottom of your heart, hug a loved one 🤗, pay a compliment 💬 to someone 'a... help, give, congratulate, offer, volunteer, encourage, listen... you will have what we call the 'helper's high': bliss 😌, calm 🧘‍♀️, appeasement 🙂, euphoria 😆, joy 😄, happiness 😃, etc. Yes, when we give we receive in return... without having asked for anything ❗️ And since our brain does not differentiate between what we experience 'for real' and what we think, know that the simple fact of imagining being kind and feeling this beautiful emotion 🤗 activates the same circuits in your brain 🧠 and the same biochemical cascade operates ❗️ A pure marvel ❗️

If, however, you are rather inspired by another emotion such as gratitude 🙏, love 💕, joy 😃 or serenity 😌... these emotions which carry you and transport you... well the above remains relevant ❗️ Our little chemist interior 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 will prepare you the same kind of good mood cocktail 👍. So ends this tip, a little special I grant you, on a noble and sometimes forgotten emotion that is kindness 🤗🤗🤗. Health is body, soul and spirit in equal measure ⚖️. Today we nourished our soul and elevated our spirit 🦋. “I don't smile because I'm happy, I'm happy because I smile. »
