Last week we discussed the exciting world of bees 🐝 and products from their hive 🍯. Vast subject of which I have not finished describing all the wonders to you 🤩. So here I am back for a 2nd part which I hope will delight your imagination 😇 as well as your taste buds 😋. Let's get straight to the heart of the matter. After honey 🍯, place for POLLEN:
The bees collect it from the flowers 🌼🌺🌸 and make small balls of it that they hang under their hind legs to transport it to the hive.
Pollen is the food of larvae and workers 😋.
It is an extraordinary natural product for the body: it is invigorating, stimulating, rebalancing and detoxifying ✌️.
Thanks to its antioxidant effect, it prevents early aging (anti-aging effect 😃), supports the immune system and strengthens the intestinal mucosa 👍.
It's a great asset for health 💪 but some precautions are necessary.
⚠️ Thus, I do not recommend its consumption in case of allergy, in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in people who are under immunosuppressive treatment.
After the pollen, let's now move on to PROPOLIS:
It is a mixture of certain secretions produced by bees 🐝 and a whole series of viscous substances that they collect on certain parts of plants.
Propolis contains mainly resin, wax and essential oils. It is a natural antibiotic that protects the hive and covers all its walls. Bees also use it in the form of putty to repair and seal gaps in their habitat 👍. They really know how to do everything 🙂! Its local anesthetic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, anti-infectious and healing properties are remarkable. If you have a cold, cough 😷, sore throat 🤒 or colds 🤧 for example, this is THE product to have on hand. But the respiratory sphere is not the only one concerned. Propolis is also very useful for your digestive system and your skin. ⚠️ Just like pollen and for safety, I also advise against its consumption if you are allergic to bee stings 🐝. And finally, to finish, here is THE ROYAL JELLY:
It is the young nurse bees that make it by extracting the proteins present in the pollen to form an emulsion. The queen 👑 and future queens feed on royal jelly 😋. It is a superfood 🏅 which contains a very large amount of protein but also minerals, trace elements and vitamins. It is easily assimilated by the body 🙂, just let it melt under the tongue 👅. Its benefits are numerous: 👉 Excellent source of protein for vegetarians but for everyone too 😉 👉 Stimulates cell growth and regeneration 👉 Very useful in case of fatigue because it increases vitality 👉 Beneficial effect on morale 👉 Stimulates the immune system 👉 Anti-bacterial and anti-viral ⚠️ Warning: 🔺 Royal jelly should NOT be consumed in case of cancerous pathology. 🔺 Here too, I do not recommend it if you are allergic to bee stings. 🔺 It must be kept in the fridge. In practice, what to take, when and how ❓❓👑 ❇️ Honey 🍯: a bit all year round, no ❓ ❇️ Pollen: twice a year, 3 to 4 teaspoons a day for 3 to 6 weeks. If you find it, prefer fresh pollen, in frozen form, whose properties are more powerful than dry pollen. ❇️ Propolis: if you are sick or as a preventive measure for 30 to 60 days. Often comes in the form of capsules 👉 follow the dosage indicated on the packaging. ❇️Royal jelly: twice a year, 500mg per day for 1 month. I will end our walk in the kingdom of 🐝 bees 🐝 with this magnificent quote ✍️ from Victor Hugo: “Nothing resembles a soul like a bee, it goes from flower to flower like a soul from star to star, and it brings back honey as the soul brings back light” From you to me, from ♥️ to ♥️, I wish you all the best in the world 💫💫💫 and... ✨✨✨ Miam la Vie ✨✨✨ ❗
