Tip #9: Recipe for fish en papillotte

This week is all about Top Chef 👩🍳👨🏻🍳🧑🏻🍳.

Well 🤔, better to stay modest and humble 😊 ... let's not get too carried away!

So let's say I take you into my kitchen to show you how I prepare fish 🐟🐟🐟.

Fish 🐟, a food I recommend again and again ... 👍!

Small fish are preferred ... because the big ones, which are sometimes called the "garbage of the ocean", very often contain large amounts of heavy metals and other substances that have no business being in our bodies 🙅🏻🙅🏼♀️🙅🏻♂️.

Still, our body has many more tricks up its sleeve and countless qualities 🙌🏻, it is capable of eliminating a whole range of toxins ☠️ ... but its excellence has limits ... and beyond a certain threshold and well it saturates 🤢🤢🤢.

Oops, but here I go astray already 😅😅😅....

Come on, let's get back to it ...cooking the fish 🐟 ...

When I get home in the evening 🌌 I don't necessarily have time to get into long and sophisticated cooking 😉 but I still want to eat healthy 😉😉😉...

The recipe I'm about to share with you is super simple ✌️ and takes 5 minutes to prepare ... ⌛️ watch in hand ⏳... yes, yes it can be done!

You are ready ❓

Let's go to your stoves ... without forgetting to put on your nicest little kitchen apron 😆😆😆.

You will need:

✅ Fish ... no kidding 🤣 !

✅ Baking paper also known as greaseproof paper ... I remind or inform you that if you have it, you must throw the aluminium foil in the bin, it is a well toxic heavy metal☠️ !

✅ Olive oil for example: organic, extra virgin and cold pressed

✅ Salt and pepper

✅ Aromatic herbs according to your taste

👉 Put the fish 🐟 in the baking paper and make a nice papillote.

👉 Add the aromatic herbs ... and NOTHING ELSE ... the fat for example is for afterwards.

👉 Turn on your oven at 85°C ... yes, yes not hotter!

👉 And hop! Fish in the oven - tray half way up and you do something else 🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻 ... see below 👍.

Depending on the thickness, I say thickness - the overall size doesn't matter - the cooking time will vary: a fillet is approx. 20 minutes and for a whole fish it can take 30-60 minutes.

Do your experiment ... either way, at this temperature, your fish will never be overcooked or dry 😀 !

When it's done, take the fish out 🐟 of the oven, open the foil, wait for your fish to cool down a bit and ... ➡️ now is when you add a good drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper.

With this type of low temperature cooking, your fish 🐟 retains most of its nutrients, stays juicy as can be and most importantly ... it's frankly delicious 😋😋😋!

Meanwhile ... when "🙇🏻♀️ you're doing something else 🙇🏻", you can make a generous mixed salad 🥗 or else ... if you're really in a hurry 🏃♀️, hungry 😩, tired 🥱, not in the mood 😟, etc ... go and get a bag of frozen vegetables from your freezer and put them as is in a pan ... same principle ... you add the right oil afterwards 👍.

Another possibility: add vegetables directly into the papillote ... but well ... depending on the vegetable chosen the cooking time may vary ...

And ... if you are one of those who don't eat fish 🤮 ... this method of cooking at low temperature in the oven applies to many other foods 😉.

Come on, a good day to all, Miam😋 Miam 😋 Miam 😋 the fish 🐟... ah no heck it's ✨✨✨ Yum the Life ✨✨✨ and see you next week 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️ !
